Certified Rehabilitation Training Provider
Academy of Learning recognizes WSIB and the network of Rehabilitation Service Providers that provide labour market re-entry services as one of our most important clients for training services.
The Certified Rehabilitation Training Provider (CRTP) program will ensure that certified Academy schools will have the requisite skills and knowledge to effectively service the LMR Service Providers and their clients.
The CRTP program participants will be educated on WSIB expectations, practices, policies and procedures. Through completion of the program and ongoing six-monthly audits, WSIB and other funding agencies can be confident that each CRTP school has proven the willingness and the ability to provide high quality training for rehabilitation clients.
CRTP program requires compliance with ‘best practices’ in the following areas:
· Business Practices (govt. registration, staff training, PSP relations, insurance, etc.)
· Facilities (safety, compliance, comfort, access, ergonomic furniture, etc.)
· Policies (confidentiality, privacy, security, threats, staff training, etc.)
· Others (regular reporting to PSPs, job search assistance, student mentoring, etc.)

We keep you informed of your client’s progress through regular progress reports. There is a firm commitment from the CRTP schools and Academy of Learning Head Office to promptly address and resolve any concerns raised by either WSIB and/or the LMR Service Providers.
