Excel 2003 Level 2 Training Overview and objectives The Excel 2003 – Level 2 course teaches you intermediate- to advanced-level concepts and features of the Microsoft Excel 2003 application. In this course, you learn to customize Excel and streamline workflow by building upon the basic skills learned in the Excel 2003 – Level 1 course. You learn to use named references, validate and consolidate data, use links and hyperlinks, and reference external data. You learn to use cell comments, custom and conditional formatting, styles, and templates. You also practice working with graphics, charts, diagrams, and databases (lists). You accomplish the learning objectives for each lesson through a series of hands-on tasks, for which you are given step-by-step instructions and desired result checkpoints. The tasks provide ample opportunity for you to practice, apply, and develop the Excel skills covered in the lesson.
