Word 2003 Level 2 Training Overview and objectives The Word 2003 – Level 2 course teaches you intermediate- to advanced-level concepts and features of the Microsoft Word 2003 application. In this course, you learn to customize Word and build upon the basic skills learned in the Word 2003 – Level 1 course. You learn to use styles and templates to speed up formatting and ensure consistency, and practice working with graphics, charts, and diagrams. You learn to collaborate with others using revision tracking and comments, and to protect, restrict, and authenticate documents. You also learn to use Word with other programs and the Web, and to structure documents using XML. You accomplish the learning objectives for each lesson through a series of hands-on tasks, for which you are given step-by-step instructions and desired result checkpoints. The tasks provide ample opportunity for you to practice, apply, and develop the Word skills covered in the lesson.
